Wow! Isn't that tiger eye?

We have pulled out all our stock stored in the "cave" under the ranch building. At first glance it all looks the same: light covered in dust. But bring in a can of water and lo! the scene changes. A big boulder of Tiger Eye (extinct by all means from the Berry Patch) and a large stone of Carlotta Green. Then we find three pieces of Brown (our new find we are trying to trade for along with the Rootbeer). These stones remind me of my father Paul Lamoreaux who mined them for 35 years from the Berry patch mine. Because of the minerals in the soil, the region made beautiful stone. For the past four years we have been selling what was reclaimed. Now the last of it is going. We will be posting some of the treasures cut up into small pieces for the Virtual Rockyard soon! It should be up in the next day or two.
