Down in the Trenches
Yes. For the past summer, Summit has been getting updated with utilities. In the process of digging a sewer line, we came upon a site we have been excavating. Dad, apparently, had buried a lot of the Berry patch stone. This is an amazing fact considering we have not had the mine for four years now and it is full of beautiful stone buried for 20 years. Maybe we are finally coming to an end of installing the lines. We also found a beautiful curve and atrium like structure under the old roof and woodshed. Its nice up here in the fall. We will be having a workshop with Alvin Marshall the last week of October. The cost is $300 plus you need to bring your own tools and pay for the stone you select from the cut shop....Come and enjoy the fall at Alpine Gems!
